This Easter, all 6 of the Gunn JCB depots will be closed for the Easter weekend.
We will close on Thursday, 28th March, at 5.30 pm and reopen on Tuesday, 2nd April, at 7.30 am.
We will operate an out-of-hours call-out service (0800 004 2008) for emergency requirements, for which a charge applies.

We are pleased to inform you that we will be showcasing a variety of JCB machines at the Great Eccleston Show on July 15th and 16th.
We offer a variety of machines to suit different needs. Our range includes the latest JCB 245XR crawler excavator that’s great for housebuilding and larger groundworks, as well as the compact JCB 16c-1 mini excavator that provides a versatile and towable option for landscapers and builders.
Additionally, we’ll be showcasing the JCB 90Z midi excavator, which is currently available through JCB Finance at 0% interest for hire purchase over 2 years on selected models of Midi & Mini Excavators.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that we will be introducing the newest versions of Diesel Generators and Teletruks. The recently launched JCB Teletruk Stage V series offers exceptional forward visibility, forward reach, and a generous lifting capacity, thereby enhancing safety while offering significant cost and space savings to various industries.
As part of our product showcase, we’ll also have an array of parts on display. Additionally, our aftermarket team will be present at our booth to assist you with any enquiries related to parts and services.

JCB 3CXS FEATURE IN POPULAR TELEVISION SERIES, THE BAY
The fans of ITV’s popular crime drama The Bay were treated to a special appearance of two JCB Backhoes in last week’s episode. Series 4, Episode 2 featured two JCB 3CX machines supplied by our long-standing customer, Buckhurst Plant Hire.
Buckhurst Plant Hire had only just received their two new JCB 3CXs from the factory when the request came in, and they just happened to have two brand new machines arriving at the time of filming the latest episode of The Bay.
Buckhurst Plant Hire is excited to have played a part in one of ITV’s hit dramas and was thrilled to spot their machines in last week’s episode. For anyone who happened to miss last week’s episode, there is no need to worry, as the series is available on ITV catchup.
Buckhurst Plant Hire was established in 1997 by the Walsh Family. The company has grown from the beginning in a small yard with only a handful of machines. It operates out of 6 depots nationwide, offering over 3,000 pieces of plant equipment and numerous JCB machines.

Following last week’s announcement by the Prime Minister, we would like to reassure all our customers that Gunn JCB remains very much open for business.
As a company that provides critical support for key sectors that include; the national infrastructure, waste, recycling, and construction, it is vital that Gunn JCB maintains the level of machine sales, parts, and service support that these sectors rely on.
We continue to see strong demand from across our region and all our depots therefore remain open.
