Gunn JCB Supplies First UK Rental Fleet of JCB Teleskids to Arnold Plant Hire
We’re proud to supply Arnold Plant Hire with the UK’s first rental fleet of JCB Teleskid machines, delivering six 3TS-8W models in a landmark deal that marks a major step forward for the waste and recycling sector.
Fully specified for demanding environments, the new machines feature factory-fitted guarding and heavy-duty solid tyres – making them ideally suited to the challenges of waste and recycling operations. This latest investment strengthens Arnold Plant Hire’s long-standing relationship with JCB and Gunn JCB, which includes operating the UK’s largest fleet of JCB Teletruks.
Commenting on the deal, Arnold Plant Hire Director Stuart Hunter said:

The JCB Teleskid 3TS-8W is the only skid steer loader on the market with a telescopic boom, providing unmatched lift height, forward reach and dig depth. Its side-entry cab and single-arm Powerboom enhance safety and visibility — essential features for waste sector applications.
Powered by a 55kW Stage V JCB DieselMAX engine, the Teleskid delivers powerful, fuel-efficient performance. Operators also benefit from an upgraded cab, featuring a 7” touchscreen display, rear-view camera, electro-hydraulic bucket levelling and customisable joystick settings via the MyChoice control system.
With over 500 machines in operation and more than 30 years of experience in the waste and recycling sector, Arnold Plant Hire continues to lead the way in specialist equipment hire. These new JCB Teleskids are now available for hire nationwide.
