What the data on the form will be used for and how we will process the data on our Longridge open day registration form

The data on the form will be used to send you information about our open day and current offers via the different forms of marketing communications that you have specifically ticked the box for and opted in for on the form to receive eg. by emails, post, telephone calls or text messages. The data on the form will be used to send you marketing material in the future and inform you about offers, shows, open days, new products, our Gunn Shot newsletter and information about what’s happening at our depots, that you have specifically ticked the checkbox for on the form and opted in to receive such marketing communications/material via emails, post, telephone calls or text messages on the form.

How our ‘subscribed to’ check boxes data is handled and who the data on the Longridge open day registration form will go to 

Once you press ‘Submit’ on the Longridge open day registration form, the data you have entered on the form will be sent to our Marketing Administrator. Your data will be stored on our system and will be available to be viewed by employees of Gunn JCB. If you have opted in to receive emails from us, then we will send you emails from time to time but these emails will have a button at the bottom of the email where you can unsubscribe. If you have opted in to receive marketing material/communications via post or phone then we may send your data (that is password protected) to our service provider in order for them to contact you by post, telephone calls or text messages. The data is stored on their secure servers and will be deleted from their servers within 4 weeks of mailing completion. If you have opted in to receive marketing telephone calls or text messages then your data will be stored in a password protected database and can be accessed only by our service provider’s staff.

How your information that you supply to us on the Longridge open day registration form will be collected and stored

Your data that we will collect when you complete our open day registration form will be stored on WordPress after you submit the form and will be collected using our mail server (which is where the emails will go to when you press the ‘Submit’ button) and then stored on our mail server and CRM. Your data will also be stored on MailChimp if you have opted in to receive marketing communications via email as our emails will be sent using MailChimp.

How to unsubscribe or opt out from receiving marketing material/communications via email, post or telephone

You will be able to unsubscribe from emails that we send via MailChimp by clicking on ‘Click here to unsubscribe’ or ‘Unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the email. If you would like to opt out of receiving marketing material/communications via the post, telephone calls or text messages, please email enquiries@gunn-jcb.co.uk.

How to remove your data from our system

At any point upon request, we can remove the data you submitted on our open day registration form completely for you. Please email enquiries@gunn-jcb.co.uk if you would like your data removing from our system.

Your Rights

You have a right to receive a copy of the information we hold about you that you submitted on our open day registration form if you apply to us in writing, to our Head Office. Our Head Office address is: Gunn JCB, Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham, Cheshire. WA14 5DN. A fee will be payable. You also have the right to ask us to correct incorrect data that you submitted on our open day registration form which you can do so by writing to us at our Head Office address. The data that we collect on the registration form for our Longridge open days will be protected and stored on our system and we will retain it only for as long as the law requires or permits, unless you tell us otherwise that you would like it to be deleted from our system beforehand.
